He is our protector!

Watch Out! Our Adversary is always on the Prowl

Psalm 101:3 (KJV) “I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me.”

Today people are bombarded with sights and sounds that set our minds to the things of the world, and off things of God. Let’s look at a few verses that point to transgressions – violating what God has laid down on His word.

The Temptation

  • Psalm 52:3 (KJV) Thou lovest evil more than good; and lying rather than to speak righteousness. Selah

Contempt of God

  • Proverbs 14:12 (KJV) There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.

Sin’s Cost

  • Romans 6:23 (KJV) For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Eternal Separation

  • Hosea 5:6 (KJV) They shall go with their flocks and with their herds to seek the LORD; but they shall not find him; he hath withdrawn himself from them.
We must carefully judge all that we lay our sight upon and all that we hear, if not, we find that it’s easier and easier yielding to the seductions of entrapment, which leads, if there is no repentance, to a severance from God that is eternal.

Friends, look to Christ.  He is our rescuer and deliverer!

  • Galatians 1:4 (KJV) Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:

Have a great week and stay in the word!

God bless ’till we meet again,

Which Jesus do you Follow?

File Jan 25, 6 38 59 AM.png

I saw this the other day on Instagram and thought I’d share it here.   So true wouldn’t you say?  This reminds me of the church we were members of…so thankful the Lord lead us out of that babel building.  Credit goes to KingJesusbible @Instagram, whom I follow.

God bless ’till we meet again,

Search and Seek

“And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”

  Jeremiah 29:13

Friends, here is the announcement: they that seek Him, will find Him: if they seek Him with all their heart!   I don’t know about you, but I feel a sense of urgency.  Chaos is all round us; this world is unraveling.   Don’t put it off…don’t hesitate, for this opportunity will soon be forever gone.   Search your heart today if you are unsaved…if you are saved, share the Gospel with others; handout tracts.  Share, share, share so others may search their heart to make the decision where they will spend eternity.

Those who seek God with all of their hearts will find him—today.

I apologize for the long absence.   For more than 8 weeks I have been fighting a virus that left me constantly tired, as well as losing my hearing in the left ear.  The good news, God is good!  We had a wonderful Christmas with friends and family, and the Lord continues to provide.  What more can one ask for?

God bless ’till we meet again,

God Hates Sin

For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off.

Proverbs 21:13 KJV

Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard.

        Psalm 37:22 KJV

The fear of the Lord prolongeth days: but the years of the wicked shall be shortened.

 Proverbs 10:27 KJV

The Opportunity for All

Titus 2:11-14 (KJV) For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; 13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; 14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Webster’s 1828 dictionary defines Opportunity as: Fit or convenient time; a time favorable for the purpose;

Throughout life we are given many opportunities involving choices.  Some choices may include: whether we accept a new job, or as a child given the choice of a toy for a birthday.  While the person’s choice may be difficult, they have an opportunity to decide on what they feel will be the most rewarding.

Opportunity for the lost

The gift of salvation is open to all.  It is an universal gift.

Acts 2:21 (KJV) And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Titus 2:11-12 (KJV) For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

This opportunity to receive the gift of salvation is open to all…no one is refused.

Revelation 22:17 (KJV) And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

Unless the person whom the offer is presented to, turns it down.

Ezekiel 33:9 (KJV) Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity;

Galatians 6:7-8 (KJV) Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

Opportunity for those to reach the lost

John 15:16 (KJV) Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

Believers are to go and bring forth fruit.  God has called us to share the Gospel, to win others for Christ.  Once won, we are to disciple them…helping them grow in their relationship with Christ.

Acts 22:15 (KJV) For thou shalt be his witness unto all men of what thou hast seen and heard.

2 Timothy 1:8 (KJV) Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord.

Friends, go forth boldly in the Lord and proclaim His grace, mercy, love to those who will hear; and also warn those of the damnation that will await those who refuse the gift of salvation.

I hope all had a great summer and now enjoying the colors of fall.  With outside activities starting to slowdown a bit, I should be on WordPress a little more often.  Take care and stay in His word, the KJV Bible!

God bless ’till we meet again,

The “GAP Theory”????

Clearly written refuting, with scripture, the false teaching of the gap theory.

Those that hold to the “Gap theory” believe that there was a gap between Gen.1:1 & Gen.1:2 where Lucifer flooded the Earth. It can also be referred to as the “ruin and reconstruction” theory.  All versions of the gap theory impose outside ideas on Scripture and thus open the door for further compromise. “Gap theory” people subtly add into the Genesis account what is not obviously there, by  twisting & perverting  Scriptures to fit into their non-biblical theory.

The origin of the word “theory”:  (1) it was first used in the 1590’s and (2) it is from the Latin root “theoria” which literally means SPECULATION.  How about these synonyms: (1) conjecture….which is an unproved assumption  (2) idea  (3) proposition…a statement or assertion that expresses a judgment or opinion

At the time of this supposed “gap” is when Satan had fallen from Heaven. Gap theorists believe there was an entirely different creation which…

A Safe Place

Psalm 31:3 (KJV) For thou art my rock and my fortress.

Safe places, we all feel secure when in our safe place.

As a child, my friends and I would build forts.  Growing up on a farm, we’d make hay-forts in the hay mow of the barn; way up high near the peak of the roof, where all was secure.

In Psalm 31:3 we see an important word…rock.  When we think of rocks, one thinks of a large stoney mass that is firm and immoveable.  This provides protection and safety, as well as giving a means of defense from those wishing to attack.

When we read and study our KJ Bible, we have the best defense mechanism anyone could hold.  The bible fosters our faith carefully nurturing it’s growth, to make it well established, as a tree’s tap root grows deep into the soil, anchoring it, giving a firm foundation to stand against storms that may come it’s way.

As world events continue to increase, we can rest assure know we are safe.  In Psalm we read:

The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.  Psalm 18:2

When troubles come your way don’t depend on your flesh to get you through the rough spots, go to Jesus Christ.  It is only Him that will safely carry you threw, protecting you all the way.

Just a brief note: It’s been an extremely busy spring and summer, which is why I haven’t been keeping the blog up to date.  The Lord continues blessing us with lots of moisture for our garden; the chickens are growing great…our first batch to butcher is a week away.  And before we know it canning season will be upon us!  My, spring flew by and summerwill go by fast, but the Lord’s return is growing closer!

God bless, ’till we meet again,
